Job summary

Aria Care is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our care home kitchen. In this full-time role, you will support the Head Chef, lead by example and craft nutritious meals using fresh ingredients for our residents. No evenings and alternate weekends help promote work-life balance.

You will work in a compassionate, diverse environment, with induction and opportunities to progress within our Chef academy.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prepare nutritious meals in a care/home setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Ability to lead and develop kitchen teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents.
• Support Head Chef and mentor kitchen staff.
• Ensure consistent portioning, plating and quality.

About the role

• Sous Chef
• Full time - 40 hours per week - No evenings and alternate weekends required

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
