Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Sous Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents. The role supports the Head Chef, with a focus on hospitality and quality ingredients. The position offers 22 hours per week with straight shifts and no evenings.

An induction will train the required healthcare cooking skills and there is an opportunity to mentor teams through the Chef academy.

Responsibilities

• Create fresh nutritious meals for residents using the best fresh ingredients available.
• Support the Head Chef, lead by example with high level hospitality.
• Mentor teams through Care UK Chef academy and participate in the induction and training process.

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
