Job summary

White Horse (92645) is seeking a Sous Chef to join our bustling pub kitchen. You will lead by example, ensure hot, quality dishes are presented to the pass, and support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations.

The role offers flexible and part-time hours with a clear progression path within Marston’s career framework. A friendly, lively team and recognised apprentice programs are part of the benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branded or pub kitchen is desirable.
• Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen during service.
• Assist Head Chef with kitchen operations.
• Run the line during busy periods on the pass.

We’re on the lookout for a Sous Chef to join our team!

Leading by example, you’ll ensure hot, quality food that you and the team can be proud of gets presented to the pass each and every time.

As Sous Chef you’ll:

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team—helping to develop their skills
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service
