What hours will you be working?

48 hours a week with two consecutive days off.

What you’ll be doing as Sous Chef?

At Hydes, food quality and caring for our people are key. As our Sous Chef, you will be second in command, delivering excellent food standards, working with fresh ingredients to serve seasonal menus and daily specials in a friendly environment. Supporting your head chef to lead and mentor your team, you will be passionate about training and development. Previous experience, preferably in a fresh food environment, is required. You may be a chef de partie or junior sous looking to progress.

You will also:

  • Maintain health and safety standards to achieve a 5-star rating
  • Meet GP targets, manage stock, and control labor costs

Your Pub

Parkgate is a seaside village with no sea, as the estuary has receded over the last century, leaving marshland. The Boathouse overlooks the Dee Estuary and offers excellent fresh food dining, especially fish and shellfish.
