The role |
As a senior sous chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to be the best they can be, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

- Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feel cared for and listened to, celebrating successes. Prioritise nurturing and developing talent within your team, role modeling a coaching culture within management.
- Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, ensuring every dish is prepared to high standards, whether through your efforts or by empowering your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
- Are experienced in maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial performance of a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs. Proactively spot opportunities as a head chef or senior sous chef.
- Are focused on building a coaching culture within your team, working with your head chef to recruit and develop your team, fostering personal and professional growth.
- Are a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think quickly and make decisions on the spot.

- A head chef or senior sous chef with experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance through positive behavior and actions in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- A strong communicator who engages in honest conversations with consideration and care, ensuring your team feels supported.
- Experienced in maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety.
- Experienced in understanding the financial aspects of a kitchen, including gross profit and stock control.
- Skilled in managing labour costs and reacting to changing demands.
- An inspiring leader who motivates their team to thrive in their roles and careers.
- Passionate about creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and they belong.
- A forward-thinking problem solver, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
