Job summary

Mitchells & Butler's Miller & Carter – Hockley Heath is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef with a passion for great food, team development and guest satisfaction. You’ll run a section, lead the team, and cover the Head Chef when needed.

This role offers progression through paid qualifications, strong staff benefits, pension, and generous holiday allowance within a structured steak-focused brand.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or senior chef in a busy kitchen.
• Strong leadership and ability to train and motivate the team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen section and ensure the team works as one unit.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Maintain high standards and comply with brand menus and hygiene rules.

As a Sous Chef at Miller & Carter - Hockley Heath , you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
