JW Lees is seeking a Sous Chef to join ourTalented kitchen team in the North West. You’ll lead in the Head Chef’s absence, help develop menus, manage stock and uphold top hygiene standards across a busy kitchen.

You’ll mentor junior staff, drive quality, and contribute to consistently delivering 5* scores while motivating the team to serve fresh, high-quality dishes every shift.

Competenze

• Previous sous chef or senior chef experience in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to develop menus and manage stock.
• Commitment to hygiene and safety standards.

Mansioni

• Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Support with menu development, stock management and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen.
• Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members.
• Ensure that high standards and attention to detail are maintained, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* Scores on the doors.
• Continuously motivate the team to make sure that fresh quality food is presented each time.
• Play an integral role in training and development of junior team members.
