Job summary

The Belvedere Academy in Liverpool is seeking a well-qualified Sous Chef to join the catering team. You will deputise for the Catering Manager and play a key role in leading the satellite dining area, with responsibility for creative menu planning and managing orders and related paperwork.

The successful candidate will cook and supervise staff, ensuring high-quality meals for staff and students, and support a fast-paced, customer-focused service environment.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic person to join our catering team, to support the Catering Manager in maintaining a high-quality food offer for staff and students. The successful applicant will deputise for the Catering Manager in his absence and play an active role in leading the academy satellite dining area with responsibility for creative menu planning, ordering of food/non-food items and dealing with associated paperwork, cooking and staff direction.
