Job summary

EGO - Shadwell is seeking a Sous Chef who thrives on leading a busy kitchen, training great people and delivering consistently excellent dishes. You will run a section and help steer the team in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring everyone works together harmoniously.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing a sous chef is preferred.
• Proven ability to train and develop junior staff.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef atEGO - Shadwell, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
