Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC in the UK is seeking a Sous Chef at Queen & Castle to lead a kitchen section with passion for great food and guest service. You’ll step up in the absence of the Head Chef and drive your brigade to work as one to deliver on-brand dishes with pride.

You will train, coach and manage food orders, stock control and hygiene, while supporting progression opportunities across Premium Country Pubs.

• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
