Job Description

You will be working as part of a Team of talented Chefs, of varying experience.
You will be working 4.5 to 5 days per week with rotational weekends off.

Duties:

  • Reporting to the Head Chef. Working alongside him/her to continue to grow the Food part of the business - Leading a team of Chefs to deliver a successful service
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and food safety standards
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to safety protocols
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen - Experience of leading a busy service successfully
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
  • Creativity in Chef's Daily Specials planning and dish presentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Happy to consider part time for the right candidate

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year We're looking for the right person to fit our team, so happy to negotiate. Better to have the right person than the least expensive person - talk to us!
