Hotel Du Vin in Henley-on-Thames is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The role involves supporting the Head Chef and delivering the brand standards in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for training, development and progression.

We offer on-the-job training and internal progression pathways to head chef roles. This is a permanent contract with a 40-hour week and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Sous chef experience preferred in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to support Head Chef and develop junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef by ensuring the team delivers brand standards in a smooth and consistent manner.
• Develop the kitchen team beneath you and maintain high standards.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to quality and presentation.

Working as Sous Chef in the kitchen you will support the Head Chef by ensuring the team deliver the brand standards in a smooth andconsistentmanner. Ideally you will of worked at this level before and be able to demonstrate your skills when developing the team beneath you.

Our Sustainability Goals:
