Job summary

St Austell Brewery's Samuel Jones in Exeter is seeking a versatile Sous Chef to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef, ensure recipe specs are followed, and help drive menu flexibility to meet guest needs.

You'll work with locally sourced ingredients, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and utilise stock management systems to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Applications encouraged from motivated chefs with leadership instincts.

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments.

You'll be working at a popular bar and restaurant that’s found on one of the city’s most pleasing stretches, with a wealth of enviable sights and destinations on the doorstep. Are you a versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you'll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
