Sous Chef Operations - Exeter Contract: Full Time
Salary: £34,200 to £36,201
Contracted Hours: 45

We burst onto the restaurant scene in 1997, when we shook up London and showed the UK a new way of eating. Part of this was the 'kaiten' conveyor belt and colour-coded dishes which made our name.

We're all about fresh, flavoursome, authentic Japanese food. Sushi is what we're famous for, but we also have a mouth-watering range of hot street food available - from traditional classics to innovative fusion dishes. All packed with rich, aromatic flavours and umami. Today, we have over 70 restaurants worldwide, more than 300 kiosks in the UK, and grocery products including pre-packaged sushi in major supermarkets.

What you will be doing:

The Sous Chef is responsible for delivering an excellent experience for both our team and guests. You are passionate about our food and will support the entire management team across the restaurant. Your goal is to ensure happy teams and happy guests, instilling this philosophy across your team. You will run engaging shifts, ensuring only the best food is served, and develop your team to achieve Super Squad status. You should be comfortable working in all sections of the kitchen, including fish cutting, rice cooking, sushi rolling, and kitchen preparation. You will continually strive to improve the quality of our food while maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for your team and guests.
