St Austell Brewery’s Samuel Jones in Exeter is seeking a versatile Sous Chef to join a busy, high‑quality kitchen that serves contemporary dishes with award‑winning beers. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team, ensure procedures are followed, and adapt dishes using our menu writing processes to meet business needs and guest expectations.

• Versatile Sous Chef with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You’ll be working at a popular bar and restaurant that’s found on one of the city’s most pleasing stretches, with a wealth of enviable sights and destinations on the doorstep.

Are you a versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
