Foxhills Collection is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Farleigh Golf Club in Warlingham, Surrey. This full-time role requires leadership in a fast-paced kitchen and a passion for culinary innovation within a prestigious setting.

You will assist the Head Chef, oversee prep, cooking and plating, train staff, and contribute to menu development while upholding health and safety standards. A culinary qualification and strong leadership are essential for success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in leading and managing the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring all dishes are executed to perfection and according to established recipes and standards
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu development, costing, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail in all aspects of the culinary operation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior role in a professional kitchen environment
• Culinary qualification from a recognized culinary institution preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
