My client is a newly refurbished and privately owned Village Pub and Restaurant, seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join their successful kitchen brigade. Located between Chelmsford and Witham, Essex this beautiful, traditional village pub is known for its quality classic British dishes, fine wine and real ale, and seats up to 80 covers including their outside area.
The restaurant is a local gem, using locally sourced produce from neighbouring farms and estates wherever possible, and game features heavily on their ever changing blackboard specials, when in season. They pride themselves on their attention to detail in all areas of the kitchen as well as the front of house, and have built up a strong brigade, led by a talented Head Chef.
