Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Sous Chef for a busy country pub near Andover, serving delicious, well thought out pub food with seasonally changing menus and specials.

You will work alongside the Head Chef, helping to organise Chef de Parties, ensure prep is completed, and assist with cooking during service. Applicants should ideally live in Andover or nearby towns.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef in busy pub or kitchen.
• Ability to work with Head Chef and organise Chef de Parties.
• Experience with prep and during service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.
• Organise Chef de Parties and ensure prep completed.
• Cook during service and maintain high food standards.

Job description

Sous Chef required for this busy Country pub located close to Andover serving delicious well thought out pub food.

Using local suppliers where possible, the Head Chef has created a popular menu of tasty creative pub food with seasonally changing menus and specials.

Sous Chef required to work alongside the Head Chef, helping to organise Chef de Parties ensuring all prep is completed and cooking during service.

Applicants will ideally need to live in the Andover, Chilbolton, Sutton Scotney or Possibly Winchester.

Base Salary from £34,000 (depending upon experience)

Share of Staff approx. £500 per month
