Job summary

A busy luxury hotel in the Bracknell/Wokingham area seeks a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen of fresh produce, serving restaurant service and banqueting. The role includes late shifts, 45 hours per week, reporting to the Head Chef with junior staff support.

You will manage hygiene and kitchen organisation, motivate the brigade and ensure smooth service for conferences, banqueting and dining during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Employer seeks a candidate already working as a Sous Chef.
• Able to work unsupervised and develop junior team members.
• Knowledge of Procure Wizard.
• Experience in a fresh food hotel kitchen with large scale conference & banqueting.
• Outgoing personality with good communication to guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Report to Head Chef; assist by junior chefs.
• Prepare meals for banqueting, conferences and restaurant using fresh seasonal ingredients.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Motivate and organise the kitchen brigade in service.

Sous Chef - Luxury Hotel - Bracknell area - Berkshire

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen at this busy Hotel in Wokingham for a Sous hef. You will be serving all fresh seasonal produce and preparing meals for restaurant service as well as banqueting. The role is predominantly late shifts working form #removed# with 5 straight shifts per week. The role is 45 hours per week.

The Role

• Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs
• Working in the kitchen using fresh and seasonal ingredients to prepare meals for banuqueting, conferences and restaurant
• Kitchen Management duties including hygiene and cleanliness
• Motivate and organise brigade of chefs in service

• You will already be a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge.
