Are you passionate about cooking and ready to lead a busy kitchen team? Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) is seeking a skilled Kitchen Team Leader to oversee kitchen operations, collaborate with the Kitchen Manager, and ensure every burger served is of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Kitchen Management: Step in during the Kitchen Manager's absence to ensure smooth operations from prep to plating.
  2. Lead by Example: Motivate and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain high standards.
  3. Maintain Quality: Ensure all dishes meet GBK’s standards for taste, presentation, and quality.
  4. Manage Stock and Orders: Keep ingredients fresh, manage inventory, and control costs effectively.
  5. Uphold Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in kitchen management or as a head chef, ideally in fast-paced settings.
  2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  3. Passion for food and creating gourmet burgers.
  4. Excellent organisational skills.
  5. Attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
