Roles and responsibilities

  • Regularly attend FAM trips to meet new suppliers and venues.
  • Present venue options with detailed comparisons, including cost analysis and logistical considerations both internally and to clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with venue representatives.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess venue suitability, layout, and potential challenges.
  • Ensure venue costs remain within the allocated budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate added benefits (Venue Commissions)
  • Develop long-term partnerships with preferred venues to secure favourable deals.
  • Track venue performance, cost savings, and contract negotiations.
  • Provide post-event evaluations on venue performance and service quality.
  • Act as the main point of contact for your client, and ensure all milestones are clearly communicated and met. Be consultative in your approach.
  • Communicate effectively with all hotel & vendor partners. You’ll handle hotel rooms, designing and communicating room sets, AV/Production needs, offsite events, ground transportation, and signage (and more!).
