Job summary

Evri Premium is hiring a Sort Centre Supervisor in Runcorn to lead a large operational team at the Sort Centre. You will drive safe, efficient operations, manage daily processes and ensure high quality service for customers.

You will plan manpower, monitor KPIs and coach staff to reach targets while maintaining rigorous health & safety standards. This role supports the Sort Centre Manager and may involve DHL branding temporarily during the transition.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy logistics/warehousing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety practices in an operational workplace.
• Proven ability to plan manpower and manage performance to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a large operational team to achieve performance and productivity targets.
• Oversee daily Sort Centre processes, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Plan manpower in line with forecasts, workloads and daily arrivals.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Communicate effectively and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure correct operating methods and procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality checks.
• Support the Sort Centre Manager and provide cover for related duties.
