Job summary

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in Chelsea, home to three Michelin starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, is seeking a Sommelier to join our passionate wine team.

You will understand wine and guest preferences, recommend and sell wines to enhance dining experiences. WSET L2 or equivalent is preferred, and you will train and share knowledge with junior team members while maintaining the highest service standards.

• You pride yourself on having a great understanding of wine and guests, recommending and selling wines to our guests that will complement their tastes and meal, creating a memorable guest experience
• You ideally hold WSET L2 qualification or equivalent
• You are eager to learn from the Head Sommelier and support senior members of the team
• You are confident in training, developing, and passing on your wine knowledge to the more junior members of the team
• You naturally enjoy building rapport with others and working as part of a team
• You are keen to use your interpersonal and organizational skills, energy, and passion for wine and beverage to ensure the highest standards are constantly achieved

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed Sommelier to join our passionate team at the three Michelin starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, located in Chelsea

What you do as a Sommelier:

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working within a Michelin Star environment
• Are passionate about delivering the highest levels of service to our guests in an engaging and informative way
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and build rapport with our guests and the team
• Desire to continuously learn and improve both knowledge and skills
