About this role

Position Overview

BlackRock are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Private Markets Solutions Engineering Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of client and prospect engagement, showcasing the full capabilities of Aladdin for Private Markets workflows. You will act as a trusted advisor, aligning client needs with Aladdin's functionality, while also influencing product development and internal strategy. This role requires superior communication skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client and Prospect Engagement:
    Serve as a front-line, client-facing specialist for Private Markets workflows, demonstrating deep product expertise and the ability to connect market trends with tailored Aladdin solutions.

  • Presentation & Communication:
    Deliver compelling, solution-oriented presentations that translate complex product capabilities into tangible client outcomes. Maintain poise and clarity when engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Sales Collaboration:
    Partner with Business Development teams to define and execute sales strategies across EMEA. Take joint responsibility for progressing sales opportunities and managing relationships through the pre-sales cycle.

  • Demonstrations & Relationship Building:
    Own the product engagement strategy for prospective clients, including live demonstrations and workflow discussions. Build rapport and long-term relationships with key business users.

  • Solution Design & Requirements Gathering:
    Understand and translate client requirements into meaningful solutions using Aladdin. Collaborate with internal teams to design proof of concepts that address complex client challenges.

  • Market & Product Expertise:
    Maintain a deep understanding of private market investment workflows, financial market trends, and Aladdin's technical capabilities. Stay current with product developments and roadmap.

  • Internal Partnership:
    Act as a bridge between clients, product development, and internal stakeholders across the BlackRock organization. Share insights and feedback to help evolve Aladdin's functionality and ensure it meets local market and industry needs.

  • Cross-EMEA Coverage:
    Support the firm's growth across EMEA by adapting solutions to regional requirements and working closely with local teams to align client engagement strategies with market conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in private markets, asset management technology, or financial services consulting.

  • Strong understanding of investment workflows and private capital markets.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with comfort presenting to C-level executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, high-performance environment.

  • Experience with Aladdin or similar investment management platforms is highly desirable.

  • Ability to travel across EMEA as required.
