Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a solutions engineer to understand defence and security users' needs, design, build, and deploy Palantir Foundry data pipelines and related applications across restricted environments.

You will travel to Europe to work with customers and operators, own solutions end-to-end from whiteboard to deployment, and apply a strong software engineering background to complex systems integration.

Qualifications

Strong engineering background—computer science or a related technical field.
Hands-on Palantir Foundry work with pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Workbooks.
Fluency in Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, or Go.
3+ years of professional software or forward-deployed/solutions engineering experience.
Ability to learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models quickly.
Experience with containers (Docker or Podman), orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift), Linux, and networking.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders; willingness to travel and work on-site.
Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based.

Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models
Experience with containers (Docker or Podman), orchestration (Kubernetes or OpenShift), Linux, networking, and on-premise fundamentals
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities
Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based
