Job summary

The Dev Hub in Gloucester is seeking an experienced developer to design, build and maintain internal applications and integrations that keep the ecommerce business running efficiently.

You'll work with ecommerce, operations and marketing teams, own projects from initial specification through deployment, and implement automation that reduces manual effort. This is a hands-on role with real impact across the business.

Proficiency in Python and experience with Shopify integrations are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience building applications and services from scratch.
• Experience with APIs, REST, JSON and webhooks.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with Shopify ecommerce platform.
• Experience with ERP/WMS or other business system integrations.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

We're partnering with a fast-growing ecommerce brand that's looking for an experienced developer to design, build and maintain the internal applications and integrations that keep the business running efficiently.

Working closely with ecommerce, operations and marketing teams, you'll own projects from initial specification through to deployment, building solutions that automate processes, connect business-critical systems and remove manual effort. This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to deliver meaningful technical solutions and make a visible impact across the business.

You'll have experience with:

• Building applications and services from scratch
• APIs, REST, JSON and webhooks
• Python or similar scripting languages
• Ecommerce platforms such as Shopify
• ERP, WMS or other business system integrations
• AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot
