Solutions Director - Healthcare

The Solutions Director will play a critical role in driving growth within the sales area, supporting the Divisional Director by aligning closely with the country’s commercial strategy and focusing on prioritised market segments.

This position is ideal for someone who not only understands our client’s distinct, people-focused culture but also appreciates the nuances that set it apart from other organisations in the industry.

Job Description

The role offers the opportunity to lead complex bids from inception to completion—managing the full lifecycle of the deal, from initial strategy through to contract signature.

Operating within a matrix environment, the Solutions Director will coordinate bid teams including writers, pricing specialists, and subject matter experts, though without direct line management responsibility.

The role is supported by a generous bonus scheme, with potential earnings of up to 100% of salary, paid quarterly and based on contract value—capped at £40k per deal.

It’s a fast-paced, rewarding role for someone who thrives on ownership, strategic thinking, and making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the sales top-line target with a focus on healthcare
  • Assist in developing and executing the sales strategy aligned with the country’s commercial goals
  • Collaborate with the Sector Director to define key markets, geographies, and targets
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, converting new business opportunities
  • Ensure efficient implementation of commercial processes and tools
  • Identify and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive growth and establish our client as the preferred partner
  • Contribute to key sales processes and customer engagement activities while leading support teams

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an FM healthcare Sales/Commercial role
  • Strong results from related commercial or business development functions e.g. having ensured substantial growth and improved profitability
  • Ability to work successfully on own and within a wider team
  • Proven track record in successfully converting business solution bids to wins, through creative and innovative thinking and based on a solid analysis of customer needs
  • Experience in “hunting” new assignments/relations/business
  • Be competitive in nature, goal-orientated and excellent communication skills
