THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Solutions Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Location: UK

Job summary

The Solutions Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) will strategically pursue new ALM enterprise customers within various industries in both local and international UK-based markets. The role focuses on new customer acquisition and building deep customer relationships, delivering tailored ALM solutions to meet complex needs.

Your role in our mission:

  • Lead the UK ALM Sales Strategy within a defined portfolio of enterprise accounts, developing and executing a sales plan to prospect and cultivate new business opportunities to meet sales quotas within Iron Mountain's UK client base.
  • Create and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with target achievement, including sales initiatives and gaining leadership support.
  • Utilize industry expertise, networks, and business development skills to uncover new opportunities, establishing strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Lead complex solution development to create customized ALM strategies aligned with customer goals.
  • Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification to closing and contract activation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches and maximize opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, product, and operations to deliver value to clients.
  • Negotiate client service contracts and SLAs to maximize value for IRM and its clients.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Proven success in selling IT solutions to senior executives.
  • Strong knowledge of Hardware Asset Management, business processes, and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) sales.
  • Deep industry experience in ALM with existing relationships in enterprise verticals.
  • Experience in identifying, solutioning, and selling complex IT services in large customer environments.
  • Track record of managing a business book, breaking into new accounts, and closing high-value opportunities.
