Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Customer Lake to help strategic customers design and scale an agentic CDP within the Databricks Lakehouse. You will lead workshops, deliver demos, and guide identity resolution, activation, and governance across channels to drive engagement and adoption.

You will partner with GTM teams and clients to translate business goals into technical solutions, influence roadmaps, and build customer trust with senior marketing and data stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CDP, MarTech, or customer data engineering expertise with 3+ years in a customer-facing, pre‑sales or consulting role.
• Experience designing and delivering data/AI applications for marketing and customer engagement including identity resolution, segmentation, personalization and next-best-action.
• Deep familiarity with CDP and martech/adtech platforms including composable-CDP architectures (Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe, Segment, Treasure Data, Braze or similar).
• Strong understanding of the customer data landscape: first‑party data, third‑party data, identity graphs, consent and privacy signals, and martech/adtech destinations.
• Experience operationalizing customer data as governed data products, including audience/segment definitions in SQL or natural language (Genie), reverse‑ETL and activation pipelines, and governance in Unity Catalog.
• Experience collaborating with GSIs and third‑party consulting to drive outcomes in marketing and customer data initiatives.
• Hands‑on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP with cloud-native data ingestion, activation, and governance.
• Undergraduate degree (or higher) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to guide customers to successful implementations on CDP and marketing projects, from architecture to data engineering and activation.
• Collaborate with GTM leadership and accounts to design strategies that drive Customer Lake adoption and CDP augmentation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to build technical credibility with CMOs, heads of MarTech, data engineering leaders, and marketing teams to drive product adoption.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops, POCs, and customer-facing collateral that demonstrate the value of an embedded CDP architecture.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field insights into recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Serve as tier-3 escalation for complex technical challenges to ensure customer success in mission-critical data environments.
• Refine the sales qualification and POC intake process to maximize customer success and minimize friction for R&D.
