Job summary

Jobtailor in Bracknell is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver complex technology solutions across IT ecosystems. You will engage with customers, partners and vendors to translate requirements into scalable architectures and compelling proposals.

You will provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, run workshops, foster best practices, and mentor teams. Strong communication and commercial awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and delivering complex technology solutions within the IT industry.
• Deep technical expertise across multiple technologies, platforms, or vendor ecosystems.
• Proven experience working directly with customers, partners, and vendors to develop strategic technology solutions.
• Strong solution architecture, consulting, and technical design skills.
• Experience managing technical workstreams within complex projects and sales opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align technology with business outcomes.
• Experience within the IT channel, distribution, vendor, reseller, or integrator environment would be highly beneficial.
• Relevant advanced vendor certifications and accreditations are highly desirable.
• A continuous learning mindset and passion for emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and define complex technology solutions that address customer business challenges.

• Conduct customer and partner workshops, discovery sessions, and site visits.
• Support commercial teams in developing technical proposals and solution designs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer, partner, and vendor stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive solution adoption through technical enablement and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Maintain advanced technical certifications and stay at the forefront of industry innovation and emerging technologies.
