Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Solutions Architect in the United Kingdom to work closely with sales teams, delivering high-impact architectural designs and enabling large-scale pre- and post-sales deployments. You will lead proof-of-concepts, validate technical alliances, and help evangelize our product offerings to partners and end users.

You will also contribute to deployment engagements, write technical whitepapers, and participate in community forums and events as a subject-matter expert.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments.
• Fluent English communication skills and presentation ability.
• Automation scripting or programming experience.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
• Deep experience with VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Red Hat virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with large, complex datacenter infrastructure operations.
• Comfortable presenting to groups both remotely and in person.
• Demonstrated logical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Proactive self-starter with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with relational database software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven expertise in delivering focused solutions.

Responsibilities

Job description

• At Veeam, Solutions Architects work closely with sales providing solutions to problems. As well as helping to evangelize our product offerings to our partners, resellers and end users, they provide a subject matter level of expertise and engage with opportunities at a deeper level to ensure pre-sales and post-sales success
• Engage with sales teams in supporting sales opportunities from pre-sales through post-sales relationships
• Provide architectural designs and engage in large scale proof of concepts, technical alliance validations, and post-sales deployments supporting Veeam service delivery partners
• Provide subject matter expertise in the Veeam product suites to customers, partners, and internal Veeam teams
• Develop whitepapers, best practice guides, competitive analysis documentation, and compete strategies as required to support deployment engagements and sales opportunities
• Be an active contributor in the Veeam Community Forums
• Attend marketing and technical presentations representing Veeam at a subject matter expert level

• Experience and understanding of the top three Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud)
• Fluent English speaker
• Experience with programming/scripting language for automation
