Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 – 5:00/5:30
What You'll Be Doing
As a Solutions Architect you will:
- Design and own end-to-end solution architectures that meet business, technical, security, operational, and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions, architecture artefacts, integration patterns, and implementation approaches.
- Define and document system architectures, integrations, data flows, dependencies, assumptions, and key architectural decisions.
- Select appropriate technologies, platforms, integration methods, and deployment approaches to support current and future business needs.
- Work closely with the Capabilities Team to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements, strategic objectives, and expected business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Technical Delivery Teams to ensure solutions are practical, supportable, and implemented in accordance with agreed architecture and design principles.
- Provide architectural leadership throughout delivery, supporting teams in resolving technical challenges, risks, and design decisions.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, technology standards, security requirements, governance processes, and strategic roadmaps.
- Provide architectural assurance and governance throughout the solution lifecycle, identifying and managing technical risks, technical debt, dependencies, and constraints.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end solution architectures for complex, business-critical systems.
- Strong background in software development, systems design, and enterprise integration.
- Experience working across multiple technology domains including applications, integration, data, cloud platforms, and infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience designing solutions using cloud technologies such as Azure and modern architectural patterns including APIs, microservices, event‑driven architecture, and integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of security, identity management, resilience, scalability, performance, supportability, and other non-functional requirements.
- Experience integrating SaaS, cloud, and third‑party platforms using APIs, middleware, messaging, and data integration technologies.
