Job summary

Quantexa is seeking a high-calibre Solution Engineer to act as a technical and domain expert across UK public sector engagements, with a focus on central government. You will lead PoCs, design bespoke demonstrations, and deliver value-driven presentations to executives and technical stakeholders in London-based client sites and the London office.

• Experience in a commercially focused, hands-on technical role such as Solution Engineering, Presales, or Technical Consulting.
• Experience from a Systems Integrator or similar technology vendor is ideal.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of effective customer engagement.

• Deliver product demonstrations in person and remotely to users through executives.

Job description

• Serve as a functional and technical expert in Quantexa’s platform and products
• Demonstrate how the platform addresses UK central government operational challenges
• Articulate and present platform value, showing how Quantexa solves customer pain points and enables better decision-making
• Represent Quantexa at industry events, customer meetings, and webinars
• Manage the technical aspects of the sales cycle alongside Sales, Architects, and Product teams
• Contribute to winning proposals, including RFPs and RFIs
• Own the design and execution of proofs of concept and trials aligned with customer objectives
• Collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams on tailored solution design
• Deliver product demonstrations in person and remotely to users through executives
• Facilitate discovery sessions with prospects to uncover business challenges and technical needs
• Collaborate with regional peers across Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and Product to win strategic sales opportunities

Requirements

• Experience in a commercially focused, hands-on technical role such as Solution Engineering, Presales, or Technical Consulting
• Experience ideally from a Systems Integrator or similar technology vendor
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Track record of effective customer engagement
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
• Proven experience working with UK public sector clients
• Good understanding of operational and technical challenges within central government departments
• Experience leading extensive proving engagements such as PoCs or early implementation phases
• Experience delivering technical workshops, prototypes, and bespoke demonstrations
• Confidence delivering engaging presentations and pitches that connect functionality to business value
• Experience building demos, templates, or sharing best practices that contribute to team enablement
• Strong expertise in data-driven analytical solutions such as Entity Resolution, Graph Analytics, and MDM
• Domain knowledge in UK public sector areas such as tax and revenue, social security, or home affairs is highly desirable
• Technical expertise in data storage, processing, and containerization technologies such as Cloud or On-prem Distributed File Systems, Spark, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch
• Willingness and ability to work in London and attend a client site or the London office at least two times per week
• UK work authorization may be required, as the application asks whether candidates are legally authorized to work in the role's location
