Job summary

Intact Insurance is seeking a Solution Data Architect to join our data architecture practice. Reporting to the Lead Solution Data Architect, you will design robust, scalable data architectures and collaborate with enterprise architects, the Chief Data Office and business stakeholders.

The role can be based from Liverpool, Manchester, Horsham or Glasgow and offers hybrid working with flexible hours. You’ll contribute to data modeling, governance, and integration patterns while embedding Data

Qualifications

• Advanced data modelling and architectural design skills.
• Hands-on experience with data modelling tools; Erwin is beneficial.
• Understanding of data integration patterns, middleware and databases.
• Knowledge of data protection and governance frameworks.
• Experience with Purview or similar catalogues.
• Experience with master/reference data management tools.
• Experience delivering data architectures across complex projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering robust data architectures aligned to standards.
• Developing and maintaining data models, dictionaries and integration designs.
• Supporting canonical data exchange across strategic systems.
• Acting as data architecture lead on projects and guiding stakeholders.
• Embedding data governance and Data Protection by Design principles.
• Contributing to improvements in data architecture practices.
