Job summary

M&G plc is recruiting a Solution Architect to work across the Life portfolio, translating business requirements into pragmatic, end-to-end architectures. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product managers and delivery teams to shape solutions, evaluate options and provide architectural assurance throughout delivery.

Experience in Advice, Wealth, Marketing or customer-facing financial services is highly valued, with a focus on security, data and integration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in a large, regulated environment.
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions across applications, data and security.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud services and modern integration approaches.
• Ability to structure complex problems into clear architectural choices.
• Experience evaluating options with respect to value, cost, risk and reuse.
• Strong communication and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate end-to-end solution architectures.
• Define target-state views and roadmaps for change.
• Assess build, buy and reuse options with stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture principles and standards.
• Provide design assurance and governance throughout delivery.
• Guide business and IT stakeholders with pragmatic technology advice.
• Apply data, integration and AI considerations in designs.
