Job summary

M&G is seeking a Solution Architect to work across the Life portfolio, focusing on Advice and Marketing. You will translate business and technology needs into pragmatic end-to-end architectures, collaborating with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, product teams and third parties to shape solutions and provide architectural assurance.

Experience in financial services, secure and scalable designs, and knowledge of AI-enabled solutions will be valuable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing end-to-end solutions across applications, integration, data, security, digital and cloud technologies.
• Ability to structure complex or ambiguous problems into clear architectural choices and recommendations.
• Experience with SaaS, COTS and cloud services; knowledge of modern integration approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and communicate end-to-end solution architectures.
• Define target‑state views, transition architectures and roadmaps for change.
• Assess build, buy and reuse options and make clear recommendations.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with Enterprise Architecture, standards and patterns.
• Provide design assurance and governance throughout delivery.
• Offer pragmatic technology and architecture guidance to stakeholders.
• Design data and integration patterns using governed data and reusable components.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and emerging technologies with governance.
