Job Description:

Our client is an established provider of complex care in Yorkshire and surrounding areas. They focus on children with complex needs, learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities. A high level of patience, resilience, and creativity is essential. We are looking for people who understand what drives behaviors and believe that behavior can be changed.

About the role:
  • Be an inspirational leader to Team Leaders, Deputy Managers, and RSWs by supporting staff induction, ongoing training, managing performance, duties, shifts, record keeping, reports, budgets, petty cash, staff deployment, and supervision of staff and young people.
  • Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed.
  • Work with the management team to achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding.
What we require from a Registered Manager:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in management or supervision within the residential care sector.
  • Previous experience as a deputy manager, with at least 2 years relevant to residential care of children.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
  • Willingness to obtain a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years if not already held.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Proven ability to provide consistent care and support to children, including those displaying challenging behavior.
  • A flexible approach to working patterns, including shift coverage when needed.
  • Passionate, professional, and adaptable.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children.
  • Honest and with integrity.
  • Relocation package or signing-on bonus of £5,000, depending on circumstances.
  • 24/7 operational support and a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Weekend on-call uplift.
  • Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per year, OTE £80K, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Work in established and new solo placement homes within a trusted provider operating 10+ high-quality homes.
  • Access to clinical and emotional support, including weekly guidance from our clinical team.
  • Support from an experienced team including Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, Seniors, and Support Workers.
