Job summary

Reevr in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join a collaborative design team. You will work with SolidWorks to create 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.

The ideal candidate has some SolidWorks experience, ability to produce and interpret 2D/3D drawings, and a foundation in mechanical design. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential as the site isn’t accessible by public transport.

Qualifications

• Some SolidWorks experience, e.g. commercially, internship or studies.
• Experience producing or interpreting 2D/3D drawings.
• Ability to interpret customer drawing packages and technical information.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong team-working and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Convert customer 2D drawings into detailed 3D models for client approval.
• Assist in preparing manufacturing drawing packs for fabrication.
• Ensure drawings comply with internal design processes and standards.
• Support multiple projects to meet deadlines and specifications.
• Upload drawings and technical documentation to customer portals.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Provide technical support and respond to customer enquiries.
