Solicitor - SEN (Special Educational Needs)

Role: Locum Solicitor - SEN (Special Educational Needs)

Duration: 3 - 6 Months

Location: Northamptonshire

Working Style: Hybrid, office presence required of 2 days per week.

G2 is working with a local authority client in Northamptonshire seeking a highly experienced SEN Solicitor for a 3-6 month rolling contract.

Experience/Knowledge Required

• Fully qualified Solicitor.
• Recent local government experience in the same service.
• Experience with SEN court and tribunal procedures.
• Knowledge of local government law, especially Education law and Judicial Review.
• Understanding of Freedom of Information Requests and Data Protection Act.
• Experience defending judicial review proceedings.
• Experience managing complex case files, drafting pleadings and witness statements.
• Legal research skills, legislative interpretation, and case law summarization.
• Ability to undertake own advocacy.
