Job summary

DAC Beachcroft in Bristol is seeking a qualified solicitor to assist in the defence of professional indemnity claims, focusing on financial professionals. You will act as a point of contact for clients, manage a caseload with supervision, and support Partners on larger matters.

The role offers exposure to pre-action and litigated matters, advising insurers on coverage, liaising with experts and counsel, and contributing to business development and training within the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 0–4 PQE in professional indemnity preferred.
• Experience handling professional indemnity claims and advising on coverage is desirable.
• Strong client handling and ability to work with insurers and advisers.

Responsibilities

• Defend professional indemnity claims, acting as a point of contact for clients and supervising junior fee-earners.
• Advise insurers on coverage across policies and liaise with experts and counsel.
• Support Partners on larger matters and contribute to business development and training.
