Job summary

DAC Beachcroft LLP in Manchester seeks an Associate/Senior Associate with Professional Indemnity experience to join our Professional and Commercial Risk team. You will grow the practice, collaborate with colleagues nationally and internationally, and support insurers and insured professionals with a full spectrum of PI disputes.

You will handle professional negligence claims, manage client relationships, and contribute to both pre-action and litigated matters.

Qualifications

• Professional indemnity experience or related insurance disputes exposure.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and support Partners and junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Interact regularly with clients to provide informed advice and updates.
• Handle a mixed workload of professional negligence claims across various professionals.
• Conduct pre-action and litigated matters with real-time project support.
• Manage your own caseload while supervising junior fee earners and supporting Partners.
• Demonstrate knowledge of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
• Coordinate with experts and counsel to direct work.
