Job summary

Clifton Ingram LLP is recruiting a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our Wills and Inheritance Team. You will manage your own caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, tax planning and trust administration, with senior responsibilities and career progression.

You will also provide mentoring to junior fee earners, contribute to business development, and strengthen relationships with referrers while helping raise the profile of the department and firm in our local

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE in private client law.
• Extensive experience advising clients on a broad range of private client matters.
• Strong technical expertise in estate and tax planning.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior fee earners.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with ability to develop business opportunities.
• Proactive, collaborative and committed to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of private client matters, including Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Tax planning, and Trust administration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior members of the team; supervision and mentoring.
• Play a key role in the strategic development of the department and build/refine referrer relationships.

The Role

Clifton Ingram LLP is currently recruiting for a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our well-established Wills and Inheritance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 5+ years’ post qualification experience (PQE) who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive, and high-regarded firm. You will manage your own caseload of private client matters, including:

• Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate
• Tax planning
• Trust administration work
• Court of protection

In addition to handling your own caseload, you will:

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior members of the team.
• Provide supervision, development and mentoring of colleagues.
• Play a key role in the strategic development of the department.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing referrers and professional contacts.
• Actively contribute to business development, networking and marketing initiatives.
• Help raise the profile of both the department and the firm across our local communities and professional networks.
