Job summary

Meaby LLP, a well‑regarded full‑service law firm with offices in London, Surrey and Essex, seeks an experienced Private Client solicitor to help grow the team. The role is ideal for a senior candidate joining as a Senior Associate/Legal Director, with hybrid working after probation.

The successful applicant will specialise in wills, tax planning, trusts, and Court of Protection, with a track record of business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Qualified private client solicitor with a strong track record in wills and succession planning.
• Experience in inheritance tax planning and wider private client tax considerations.
• Proven ability to create and administer trusts and manage related taxation.
• Experience with Court of Protection work and related advisory services.
• Demonstrable success in developing business and maintaining trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the private client team and practice across multiple offices.
• Advise on wills, trusts, tax planning and succession strategies for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Handle Court of Protection matters and related advisory work as part of the team.
• Build and sustain strong client partnerships and drive new business opportunities.
