DWF LLP in Birmingham is seeking a Solicitor to join the Major Injury & Casualty team. You will manage a mixed caseload of defendant EL/PL and personal injury claims, advising insurers and corporate clients on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy.

This role involves handling a range of insurance claims, both international and domestic. Our client list is prestigious and growing. We also advise prestigious corporate clients, either through insurance work or directly. We act for a large number of insurers, many of whom are household names, dealing with personal injury, Serious Injury complex, catastrophic and large loss claims and with a range of files including EL/PL matters. We offer a hybrid working pattern and are flexible on office attendance based on candidate location.
Essential: We are seeking applications from newly qualified to experienced Solicitors, preferably 1-3 years PQE. Demonstrable interest and prior experience in Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Personal Injury matters. Experience handling defendant personal injury cases, either independently or in a supporting role to senior team members. Previous experience within a defendant insurance law firm. Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively. A team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
