We act for a number of prestigious Tier 1 insurers, many of whom are household names, handling a wide range of Major Injury and Casualty claims.We are currently recruiting for a Solicitor or Associate to join our team in Birmingham.We are seeking an Solicitor or Associate with previous experience handling Major Injury and Casualty claims.
Experience in Employer Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) is essential for this role, while Abuse experience would be advantageous.The role is hybrid, with office attendance in Birmingham required two days per week.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Solicitor or Associate in our Major Injury and Casualty, you will engage in a wide range of activities, such as:
Working with the Partners to manage a caseload of Major Injury and Casualty, compromising of a variety of defendant Employer Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Abuse, Casualty, Disease, and Large Loss claims matters, with claim ranging in value.Drafting pleadings, reports to clients, attending court hearings, working to court deadlines, liability investigations, gathering evidence, instructing experts and considering interesting medical causation issuePrioritising work effectively and to maximise efficiency in working practices, adhering to court deadlines and directions, as well as the client's service level agreementsBuilding working relationships internally and externally in order to maintain client relationships, develop business networks and create a solid understanding of the Firm’s direction and client needsBuilding working relationships internally and externally in order to develop business networks and create a solid understanding of the Firm’s direction and client needsProviding support and act as the 'go to person' for more junior members in the team.
