Job summary

Quest Employment is recruiting a Solderer for a leading manufacturer in Corby. This temporary to permanent role involves soldering precision electrical components, following technical drawings, and ensuring high quality.

You will work Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:00 (39 hours weekly), with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour and opportunities for higher rates based on experience. Full training and ongoing support provided; a clean, modern workspace and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Soldering experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hand.
• Able to work with small components.
• Able to follow technical drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Soldering small electrical and electronic components to a high standard
• Working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Assembling and connecting electrical components and connectors
• Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks on completed work
• Ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting production targets while maintaining attention to detail
