Job summary

Abstract Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Operative with soldering experience to join a Corby-based production team manufacturing high-precision coaxial RF products for defence and aerospace applications.

You'll perform soldering, cable preparation, assembly, serialising parts, and quality checks to drawings, with ongoing, long-term work and immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Soldering experience is essential and candidates must be confident using soldering equipment.
• Experience with cable assembly or crimping is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and motivation to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembling coaxial radio frequency products to a high standard.
• Carrying out soldering, crimping, cable preparation, and assembly work.
• Printing and applying serial numbers to finished products.
• Inspecting finished goods against engineering drawings and work orders.
• Testing products where required.
• Following manufacturing processes and quality procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
