Job summary

Holt Engineering is partnering with a Fareham-based PCB manufacturer to recruit an experienced solderer. You will solder components onto PCBs using Through-hole and fine soldering, sometimes under a microscope, following drawings and IPC standards.

The role offers in-house training, a friendly team, and an early finish on Fridays. Working hours are Mon-Thu 7:30–16:30 and Friday 12:30. Pay ranges from £12.71 to £13 per hour, depending on experience.

Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative PCB manufacturing company based in Fareham, Due to an ever-expanding order book our clients are looking for experienced solderers.

As a solderer, your role will be to solder components onto PCB boards using Through-hole and fine soldering.

Duties for the Solderer

• Following technical drawings and solderer to required.
• Soldering to IPC standards.
• Soldering small components to PCBs.
• Soldering with a microscope at times.

To be a successful Solderer you must

• PCB soldering experience
• Be able to understand technical drawings
• Solder to good standards
• Good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines

For the successful Solderer, you will

• Early finish on Fridays
• Friendly work environment

The working hours are

• Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30 and early finish on Fridays 12:30pm

Paying between £12.71 - £13 Per Hour (depending on experience)
