Job summary

Holt Engineering is partnering with a Fareham-based PCB manufacturer to recruit an experienced solderer. You will solder components onto PCBs using Through-hole and fine soldering, sometimes under a microscope, following drawings and IPC standards.

The role offers in-house training, a friendly team, and an early finish on Fridays. Working hours are Mon-Thu 7:30–16:30 and Friday 12:30. Pay ranges from £12.71 to £13 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• PCB soldering experience
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Solder to IPC standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Follow technical drawings and solder to IPC standards.
• Solder small components onto PCBs.
• Solder using Through-hole and fine soldering; microscope when needed.
