Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking a Solar and Storage Performance Analyst to drive performance improvements across solar and battery storage assets. You will lead analyses, develop models and collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance teams to turn insights into action.

The role offers a competitive salary, potential annual bonus and a flexible hybrid working pattern with visits to our London, Durham or Edinburgh offices, aligned to where you are based.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate analytical and modelling experience.
• A degree-level qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple activities and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using data analysis to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the performance of solar and battery storage assets and supporting operational reporting activities.
• Developing and maintaining tools, systems and models that support performance analysis and asset optimisation.
• Analyzing asset performance data to identify underperformance, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Supporting the onboarding of new technologies, systems and renewable assets into operations.
• Producing performance reports, dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Validating and improving data quality across performance systems and reporting platforms.
• Working with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance teams to implement performance improvements.
• Supporting battery energy storage analysis, including availability, capacity and degradation assessments.
• Developing automation solutions and coding tools to improve monitoring and reporting processes.
• Investigating emerging technologies and recommending performance enhancements across the portfolio.
